Self Help Touch Screens

September 21, 2017 by Andy Turner

We have recently secured funding from NHSCT/M&EA Borough Council and Dept for Communities to install digital self help touch screens providing the latest information and criteria for Welfare Benefits. Each terminal also offers free access to our Reception and Telephone Advice line and also the Welfare Reform Telephone Helpline.

We currently have a terminal installed in Ballymena Health Care Centre, our head office at 4 Wellington Court, Ballymena town centre, with new terminals to be installed shortly in Glenlough Community Centre, Carnlough and in the Whitehead/Islandmagee/Ballycarry area.

We are working closely with rural towns and villages to secure funding to install self help terminals in community hubs across M&EA to provide free access to our services.

New Carrickfergus Premises

September 21, 2017 by Andy Turner

Due to continued support from Mid & East Antrim Borough Council, we were able to acquire new and more suitable accommodation at 11 Antrim Street, Carrickfergus. This is a newly renovated building, offering a great space for our staff and volunteers to work but most importantly we can now offer more volunteering opportunities, more appointments for clients in a ground floor accessible building, whilst remaining in the town centre. Our building is to be official opened by Mid & East Antrim Mayor, Cllr Paul Reid on 4th October 2017.
