Tribunals

We represent residents of Mid & East Antrim Community Advice Services at Appeals in Ballymena Business Centre, Ballymena Court House and Cleaver House Belfast. We are also able to accommodate Appeals that take place remotely via video link.

We employ Cathy as our full-time Tribunal Representative and Appeal team Coordinator supported by Graham who is responsible for administration.

You may be dissatisfied because you think a decision is wrong or you just want the decision explained. If you think that you are entitled to benefit, have made a claim and been told you cannot get anything (or will get less than you think you should), you can challenge the decision. You have one month from the date of your decision letter to appeal a decision. The sooner you contact us the more time we have to work on your case. We can offer advice on how to challenge a decision or appeal. A qualified representative can review your case and if applicable complete a written submission for the panel to consider. We can provide free representation at your appeal, dependent on our resources. We can also offer advice on the appeal process if you prefer to attend with a friend/family member.

If you would like assistance to challenge or appeal a decision contact us on 028 96 001333 to make an appointment with one our representatives.

Press play to watch part 1 and 2 below which provides information on appealing a decision.
